Change does not happen overnight and the legal sector is notoriously slow to change. However since the publication of our last report we have seen encouraging progress in social mobility with an increasing proportion of state-educated graduates choosing to start their legal careers with us. My aspiration is for Russell-Cooke to be the employer brand of choice for any candidate (whether legally qualified or otherwise) seeking a career in the legal sector who comes from a diverse background, or for whom a commitment to ED&I is an important consideration.”
